Logo_FIACThis year’s Frankfurt Roundtable on Investment Law and Investment Treaty Arbitration (Gesprächskreis Investitionsrecht und – Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit) is held on November 14, 2015. As always, Alfred Escher and Jan Schäfer are organizing the event in conjunction with the Frankfurt International Arbitration Center.

This year’s programme headline is “Investment Law and Investment Arbitration in Stormy Waters” (Investitionsrecht und -schiedsgerichtsbarkeit in stürmischen Zeiten). Joachim Schuster, a Member of the European Parliament, and a member of its Committee on International Trade, will open the event.  The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and its review by the German Federal Constitutional Court (Bundesverfassungsgericht) (see the Verfassungsblog for more on this) will be discussed, and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) will of course be on the agenda as well. Here is a link to the full programme and to the registration form.
